Blind Lead Trust Organization and UHM Celebrate Pre-Christmas with Heartwarming Blanket Distribution
SHILLONG – Today was a day of warmth and joy at the Blind Lead Trust Organization as we celebrated a special Pre-Christmas event in collaboration with the United Hynniewtrep Movement (UHM).
The highlight of the event was the distribution of 20 blankets, generously sponsored by the UHM Association, to the visually impaired members of our community.
Voices of Gratitude:
The beneficiaries expressed deep emotion and relief, noting that these blankets provide much-needed comfort and protection against the winter cold. One beneficiary shared that such gestures make them feel remembered and valued by society.
The members of the Blind Lead Trust also expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the UHM Association. They noted that this contribution is not just about the items given, but about the commitment and respect shown toward the community. “This partnership strengthens our spirit and reminds us that we are not alone in our journey toward a better life,” stated a member of the Trust.
A Call to Collaborate:
We from the Blind Lead Trust Organization would like to take this opportunity to reach out to other organizations. You are most welcome to come and collaborate with us. Helping us grow for the betterment of people with disabilities is a rewarding mission; if you join us, you will find great happiness in the impact you make.
Media Appreciation:
We extend our sincere thanks to Batesi TV and all other press media outlets for their presence and for sharing our story with the public.
